Beautiful Disocactus martianus (HA! Great name.) …… It is endemic to Oaxaca in Mexico, though a rare species in the wild. The bright red flowers are diurnal and occur in summer, remaining open for a couple of days. ;( The flowers are followed by globose green fruits, ~2 cm diameter.
